I.M. Weiss Gallery launches ART IN ACTION ❤️🖤
A new series of projects that mobilizes their artists to not only raise awareness about urgent needs in our broader community, but also create real opportunities to help.
For the first installation, they are collecting pads and tampons to support I Support the Girls – Detroit, and the fight against period poverty. Artist Paula Schubatis created an installation highlighting the statistics. Join us this weekend for two events:
March 7 | 3–6 PM
Installation Launch. Join us for a talk with ISTG – Detroit Director Bekah Page-Gourley and Paula Schubatis. Donations required for entry, please rsvp.
March 8 | 12–5 PM
Open House. Drop in any time with donations and place them in the Paula Schubatis-designed installation.
